Now along with studies in the model culture schools of the state, the hidden talents of the students will also be nurtured. For this, art and culture clubs are being formed in model culture schools. Which will prove to be effective in the all round development of the students. For this, 135 model culture schools of the state have been selected.An amount of one crore 75 lakh 50 thousand rupees (at the rate of one lakh 30 thousand per school) will be given to form art and culture clubs in all these 135 model culture schools. Talking about the state, there are a total of 137 model culture schools. Out of which Government Model Sanskriti School Patoda (Jhajjar) Government Model Sanskriti School, Barara (Sonipat) has been left out.
Model Sanskriti schools are being set up to improve the standard of education across the state. Which have been recognized by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). According to the conditions of CBSE and Education Policy 2020, Art and Culture Clubs (Art and Culture Clubs) will be established in model culture schools across the state to preserve Indian arts, languages and culture. In which participation will be ensured on the basis of interest, ability, ability of each student.
The club in-charge will prepare the students for competitions from time to time. To prepare teams at school level and encourage students to participate in state and national level competitions. The names of the in-charges of all the clubs operating in the school will be displayed on the board.
One lakh 30 thousand rupees will be given by the government for setting up art and culture club in each model culture school. Out of this, 30 thousand rupees will be given for buying clothes, 60 thousand rupees for buying musical instruments and 40 thousand rupees for buying art materials. A committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the school head for the purchase of goods. In which members of the School Management Committee (SMC), club in-charge, PGT or TGT related to art education will be included.
