Central assistance of Rs.657 crore 60 lakh for effective implementation of the smart class scheme. The smart class will be started in 2739 middle schools soon. Approval to spend two lakh 40 thousand rupees on each smart class.
The Smart Class Scheme will be implemented in all 30 thousand 300 middle schools in Bihar. The government has set a target to effectively implement the smart class system in middle schools by 2024. According to Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, digital education for children in government schools will prove to be helpful. This will make their future brighter.
The facility will be available after the summer break:
The good thing for the children studying in government schools of the state is that from this year, preparations have started to implement the Smart Class Scheme in 2739 middle schools. If everything goes as planned, then after the summer vacation, students will start getting smart classes in middle schools. The paucity of money will not come in the way of implementing this scheme effectively as central assistance of Rs 657 crore 60 lakh is being received for the smart class. With this, 2 lakh 40 thousand rupees will be spent on the construction of each smart class. Under the new National Education Policy, the Central Government has approved the amount for the selected middle schools in Bihar. This scheme is being implemented under the scheme related to basic literacy and numeracy of the Central Government.
NIC to prepare smart class:
According to the education department, smart classes will be prepared in middle schools with the help of NIC, where a 42-inch LED screen will be installed. One UPS will be provided for the backup of the CD player. Inverters will be available for uninterrupted power supply till the smart class is operational. Many other tools will also be given, teachers will also be trained.
