laptops to specially-abled students:

 On Friday, Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia distributed laptops and other educational materials to more than 5,000 differently-abled children studying in government schools. An official statement has given this information. The statement said that this initiative was taken under the Delhi government’s talent promotion policy, through which children with disabilities are provided with suitable aids, equipment, and learning materials.

Laptop for children from class 8 to class 12:

 Under this scheme, assistance is provided to children with disabilities in 21 categories and through this, it helps in increasing their learning capacity and productivity. Sisodia distributed laptops, tablet computers, game kits, and learning materials to 5,322 differently-abled children of classes 8 to 12 studying in government schools in Delhi.

Helping children with disabilities in schools:

 Sisodia said, “Children with disabilities are determined to study, but they often face challenges in different aspects of life, which hinder their development and prevent them from participating at the community level. Pratibha Protsahan Yojana (Arvind) is a small step of the Kejriwal government, through which children with disabilities in our schools are helped to increase productivity and efficiency by providing them support.
