PM CARES for Children: Keeping in mind the future of the children who lost their parents in the Corona pandemic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the PM CARES program. Under this, children who were orphaned during the wave of Corona will get other benefits including scholarships. Prime Minister Modi announced this through video conferencing yesterday, 30 May.

Announcing the scholarship, Prime Minister Modi said, “All of you are a small effort to alleviate the difficulties of such corona-affected children, whose mother and father are both no more. PM CARES for children is also a reflection of the fact that every citizen is with you with the utmost sensitivity.

The Prime Minister said that if someone needs an education loan for a professional course or for higher education, then PM-CARES will help in that too. For other daily needs, arrangements have also been made for them by means of other schemes of Rs 4 thousand per month.

You will get these benefits:
Under the scheme, children will get a passbook from PM Cares and a health card under the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, which will be handed over to the children. The government program aims to support children who have lost both parents or legal guardians or adoptive parents or surviving parents between March 11, 2020, and February 28, 2022, in the COVID-19 pandemic.
