Schools were reopened for Class 12 students in Madhya Pradesh from Monday after schools remained closed for several months due to the Kovid-19 pandemic, but very few students attended the school. Very few students came to school on the first day of the school opening due to fear of coronavirus infection. However, less than 15 cases of coronavirus are coming to Madhya Pradesh for the last few days.
Several private schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) did not open schools today citing various reasons, while the schools of Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education opened. There are over 47,000 private schools in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Private School Association president Ajit Singh said that not a single student came in some schools. One student came to some school, while in some only five to 10 students came.
