Seema had lost her leg in an accident two years back. However, she wanted to continue her studies, so she had to cover a distance of one kilometer daily to her village school.

JAMUI: A 10-year-old girl from Bihar, who was seen walking to school on one leg in a recent viral video, will now be able to walk on her way to school thanks to a prosthesis.
A photo of a girl named Seema from Bihar’s Jamui district has been shared by Avneesh Sharan, a 2009 batch IAS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre, in which she is seen wearing a prosthesis or prosthesis.

After Seema’s story went viral on social media, Jamui district officials presented her with a three-wheeler.

While the swift action of Bihar government officials ensured that Seema no longer had to lift a leg, actor-philanthropist Sonu Sood also came forward to help Seema. He said in a tweet that Seema will now reach school by jumping on both her feet, not one. Tagging his NGO Sood Foundation, he said, “I am sending the ticket, the time has come to walk on both feet.”
