UP Board Exam 2023:

Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education is going to make a big change in the pattern of board exams from next year. According to this, MCQ questions will be asked in all subjects of the 10th board examination from next year i.e. 2023. One of the biggest changes planned for the UP Board 10th Exam 2023 is the introduction of MCQs or Multiple Choice Questions. Under this, 30% of questions will be asked from all subjects in class X. For this, students will be given OMR i.e. Optical Mark Recognition Sheet (OMR) for answering the students. Presently the UP Board conducts the High School Examination for the students of class 10th in a completely descriptive or subjective manner.

While media reports in this regard, UP Board Secretary Divyakant Shukla has confirmed this change, saying, “Thirty percent of all the questions in the examinations will be of MCQ type, and the students will be provided with OMR sheets to answer them. We have used this format in class 9 exams and from next year onwards it will be repeated in class 10 exams also. Apart from this, media reports have also claimed that the UP Board may also introduce MCQs for class 12 students from 2025.

Internship for 9th and 11th class students:

Internship programs will be started for connecting UP Board 9th and 11th with education as well as employment. The UP Board is planning to make internships mandatory for class 9 and class 11 students along with its regular curriculum. Internships during their school days will enable students to learn the necessary skills so that they do not face any problems in getting better jobs in the future.
